Re-Born Auto Repair was opened in October of 1983 by Mark Harper and Vince Vierck in a
two bay shop in the Vancouver area. Things went well for the two of us and after three
years added a third bay, remodeled the office, added a parts room and additional storage.
Later when a repair shop in Portland, that we both had worked at, became
available we decided that it was time to expand. This also meant splitting up our
successful duo we had going, but felt it was time for a change.
In August of 1988, Re-Born Automotive, Portland was formed. At first things were
a struggle, but after persistence and many long hours of dedication, both shops
flourish. Mark and Vince to this day are happy with their decision to expand.
Combined with what we feel are some of the finest technicians and service people in the
