Hans & Amy Vierck - Owners
After 42 years of ownership by Vince and Becky Vierck, Hans and Amy are honored to take
the wheel at Re-Born Automotive and continue the legacy built by Hans’ parents.
Hans grew up in the automotive world and has been officially working at the shop since
2010. Starting out he cleaned the shop and did odd jobs and oil changes. Then gradually
moved up starting to work as a technician, service advisor, manager, and now owner as of
July 1st 2025. His love for cars began as a kid, and his passion for this business has grown
ever since. Amy keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes while also being a
full-time chauffeur to their three kids ages 12, 10, and 6.
As a family, the Viercks love camping every chance they get and spending time with family
and friends. They are committed to keeping Re-Born Automotive the trusted, customer
focused shop it’s always been.
John Sayler - Service Advisor
John joined the Re-Born Automotive team in June 2024, bringing nearly a decade of
experience in the automotive industry. After graduating in 2015 with an Associate’s Degree
in Automotive Technology, he began his career at Wentworth Chevy, now Subaru of
Portland, where he developed his expertise in both customer service and automotive care.
He had been looking for a shop he could call home and we are so grateful he found it here
at Re-Born.
Born and raised in Portland, John is known for his gift of gab and enjoys building strong
relationships with customers. Outside of work he loves gardening, flowers, plants, and a big
fan of Ansel Adams’ photography. At home John likes to spend time with his three cats
Oliver, Charlie, and Lucy and hopes to add a dog to the family someday!
Jesse St Jules - Technician
Since joining Re-Born in 2021, Jesse has established himself as a highly skilled and
dependable technician. His passion for automotive work began in high school, which led
him to graduate at the top of his class from the Portland Community College automotive
program.
At Re-Born, Jesse is known for his precision and commitment to quality with every repair he
handles. Outside the shop, he enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, Emma, and their two
dogs, Oakly and Moro. Jesse also has a love for simulator car racing and working on his
own vehicles.
Garrett Watson - Technician
Garrett joined our team in September 2022 and has been a valuable part of Re-Born ever
since. His passion for cars began in high school when he first started driving. Growing up in
the Pacific Northwest, it was a natural step for him to enroll in the automotive program at
Clackamas Community College, where he graduated in 2017. Since then, Garrett has built
a solid career in the automotive field.
Outside the shop, Garrett enjoys spending time with his cat Miku, as well as drawing
portraits and abstract art. He’s also an avid mountain biker, weight training enthusiast, and
even holds a black belt in martial arts. We’re thrilled to have Garrett as part of the team!
Fahad Naeem - Technician
Fahad joined Re-Born Automotive in 2024, bringing six years of experience in the
automotive industry. His background in the field has equipped him with the knowledge and
dedication to keep our customers' vehicles performing at their best.
Based in Portland, Fahad is an avid biker and outdoor enthusiast who also loves
paddleboarding. Always looking for new ways to enjoy the beauty of the outdoors. At home,
he enjoys life with his partner, Ira, and their two cats, Kishke and Greg.
Chris JolinG - Technician
Chris joined Re-Born in January 2024, bringing a wealth of knowledge and skill. Known for
his strong work ethic and attention to detail, Chris has quickly become a valued member of
our team. His interest in cars began in high school through the automotive program at the
Skills Center. Starting out at a tire shop, he went on to spend more than a decade
specializing in Land Rovers from 2012 to 2023.
Chris grew up in Vancouver, WA, and now calls Battle Ground, WA, home with his wife Julia,
their son Finnley, and another baby on the way. Their family also includes a Boston Terrier
named Jackson and a cat named Moon. Outside of work, Chris enjoys camping and beach
trips with his family, making the most of the Pacific Northwest outdoors.
