Hans & Amy Vierck - Owners
In 2025 after 42 years of ownership by Vince and Becky Vierck, Hans and Amy were honored to take the wheel at Re-Born Automotive and continue the legacy built by Hans’ parents.
Hans grew up in the automotive world and has been officially working at the shop since
2010. Starting out he cleaned the shop and did odd jobs and oil changes. Then gradually
moved up starting to work as a technician, service advisor, manager, and now owner as of
July 1st 2025. His love for cars began as a kid, and his passion for this business has grown
ever since. Amy keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes while also being a
full-time chauffeur to their three kids ages 13, 11, and 8.
As a family, the Viercks love camping every chance they get and spending time with family
and friends. They are committed to keeping Re-Born Automotive the trusted, customer
focused shop it’s always been.
John - MANAGER
Portland location
John joined the Re-Born Automotive team in June 2024, bringing nearly a decade of
experience in the automotive industry. After graduating in 2015 with an Associate’s Degree
in Automotive Technology, he began his career at Wentworth Chevy, now Subaru of
Portland, where he developed his expertise in both customer service and automotive care.
He had been looking for a shop he could call home and we are so grateful he found it here
at Re-Born.
Born and raised in Portland, John is known for his gift of gab and enjoys building strong
relationships with customers. Outside of work he loves gardening, flowers, plants, and a big
fan of Ansel Adams’ photography. At home John likes to spend time with his three cats
Oliver, Charlie, and Lucy and hopes to add a dog to the family someday!
Lisa - SERVICE ADVISOR
Vancouver location
Lisa joined the Re-Born Automotive crew in May 2025. She was born and raised in Philipsburg, Germany, and made her way to Washington State in her late teens, where she has called the PNW home ever since.
Outside of work, Lisa enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, Matt, and their English Lab, Holly. She’s a big fan of baking and loves getting behind the camera for some automotive photography.
Jesse - SHOP FOREMAN
Portland location
Since joining Re-Born in 2021, Jesse has established himself as a highly skilled and
dependable technician. His passion for automotive work began in high school, which led
him to graduate at the top of his class from the Portland Community College automotive
program.
At Re-Born, Jesse is known for his precision and commitment to quality with every repair he
handles. Outside the shop, he enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, Emma, and their two
dogs, Oakly and Moro. Jesse also has a love for simulator car racing and working on his
own vehicles.
Lex - Master Technician
portland location
Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, Lex has lived a little bit of everywhere! She spent time in Seattle before moving to New York to attend art school. From there, she began her career as a pastry chef.
Eventually, Lex realized she wanted to turn something she already loved into a career. Having always enjoyed working on her own cars, she decided to pursue automotive repair. She graduated from Portland Community College’s automotive program and went on to gain experience at independent repair shops before finding her way to Re-Born Automotive.
Outside of work, Lex enjoys spending time with her partner, Alix, and their cat, Baby Cat. She’s a fan of horror, sci-fi, and foreign films and loves camping in Central and Eastern Oregon.
And if you ask Lex what her favorite cars are to work on? BMWs!
Fahad - Technician
Portland location
Fahad joined Re-Born Automotive in 2024, bringing six years of experience in the
automotive industry. His background in the field has equipped him with the knowledge and
dedication to keep our customers' vehicles performing at their best.
Based in Portland, Fahad is an avid biker and outdoor enthusiast who also loves
paddleboarding. Always looking for new ways to enjoy the beauty of the outdoors. At home,
he enjoys life with his partner, Ira, and their two cats, Kishke and Greg.
Chris - Technician
vancouver location
Chris joined Re-Born in January 2024, bringing a wealth of knowledge and skill. Known for
his strong work ethic and attention to detail, Chris has quickly become a valued member of
our team. His interest in cars began in high school through the automotive program at the
Skills Center. Starting out at a tire shop, he went on to spend more than a decade
specializing in Land Rovers from 2012 to 2023.
Chris grew up in Vancouver, WA, and now calls Battle Ground, WA, home with his wife Julia,
their two children. Their family also includes a Boston Terrier
named Jackson and a cat named Moon. Outside of work, Chris enjoys camping and beach
trips with his family, making the most of the Pacific Northwest outdoors.
Colton - Technician
Portland location
Colton got his start in the automotive industry as a car detailer before working his way into minor repairs. Wanting to learn more, he attended automotive school in Estacada, Oregon, and later continued his education at Weber State University, where he graduated from the Heavy Duty Mechanic Program in 2020. Since graduating, Colton has gained experience working at both dealerships and independent repair shops. We’re so glad his journey brought him to Re-Born Automotive! He’s been a great addition to our team.
Outside of work, Colton lives in Milwaukie with his wife, Dana, their 3-year-old daughter, Kaylor, and five Shiba Inus! When he’s not working on cars, Colton enjoys fishing and collecting sports cards. He has an impressive collection, primarily baseball cards dating from the 1950s all the way to today.
